My Baby Kate is recovering well. It’s her third day after her surgery. She’s eating well and she’d take her medicines without being very fussy. Her face is still a bit swollen though. But all in all, she’s a-OK.

…I’ve been meaning to shop for these puffy jackets since fall is just around the corner. I just couldn’t find the right ones that would fit on me perfectly (and not to mention, at affordable prices). I’ve been scouting via phone on nearby shops and boutiques, and visiting websites as well just trying my luck on finding those perfect outwears for me. But just this afternoon, my search is then over. I purchased two slammin’ puffy jackets with fur around its hood. Actually, Kashiera of Wet Seal in Alderwood Mall helped me out with my search. That when she found out about the stuff I’ve been looking for, she reserved a couple for me–one in white and one in black, and told me that my items were already waiting for me.

…on the other hand, my husband’s birthday is coming next month, my eyes were wide open whenever I am out in malls searching for that perfect gift for him. And today is indeed one of those lucky days for me as I chanced upon a piped jacket from Gap which was on-sale that I am certain VJ would love wearing.

I spent a couple of hours in the mall this afternoon. It is good thing to have such time by myself to escape from the stress that we have at home. Don’t get me wrong, but of course, I love and care for my daughter to death but we sure all need a little freedom.

And so really, it is one lucky day for me.

P.S. Zac’s (one of VJ’s friends from work) wife is about to give birth tonight to their first born. He just phoned VJ and said that him and Renee are on their way to Evergreen Hospital (where I gave birth to Kate). And I got excited about the news. VJ and I are definitely going to be their son-Trystan’s (my fave boy’s name, huh) first few visitors. Anyways, VJ and Zac wanted our kids to be friends until they’ve both grown.
