iPHONE…SHALL I OR SHALL I NOT?

The hubby said its fine if i get an iPHONE.  I have been anticipating for this techie since Jan2007, when it first came out in the news.  For those of you who dont know yet, it is a combination of an iPOD and a cellfone by Apple.

iPHONES will be released on the 29th of June…which means, it is this coming FRIDAY!  And if I decide to buy myself one, I need to get in line on Thurs nite at this Apple Store in Lynnwood, WA.  Last night news said that there might be long lines of people who are going to buy.  I remember when Xbox360 was first available in stores, my hubby was one of the thousands of people who got in line a day before it was released.  (Some people waited in line for like a week).  And I can still picture how elated he was to be able to buy himself that gaming console.  And a couple months after, he traded it with a PS3 because he said it’s a lot better than the Xbox360.  Well that is another story then.

A 5GB iPHONE costs $500 and a 6GB is $600.  I prefer the 6GB one.  I wish it has bigger memory capacity for that price.

I think it is costly.  But I REALLY WANT TO HAVE ONE because I’m an iPOD and a (kind of) cellfone person.  But (again),  part of me is deciding against buying it.  Is it practical if I get one?  I already have a 20GB old iPOD and a 4-month old 30GB video iPOD (courtesy of my bro in-law).  And you know that I’m a mom and there are needs that should be prioritized!  I don’t know.  That’s why I’m posting this bulletin, hit me back with your reply if you want to share your views with me.

Thanks and goodluck on me…

Don’t do it! Haha.. personally, I’d wait to hear the reviews from the people who actually waited in line at midnight. It looks cool, but I, too already have a video ipod and a camera phone which is internet enabled, which I don’t really use… so other than looking cool and keeping up with the Jones’, I’d rather spend my $500-600 somewhere else. But that’s just me. =)
